Hello!
I'm so excited that the heat wave as broke for a bit and lets me breath again.. I got to tell you I took central air for granted, yes I did. The valley is like a pit of hot hell ass... much like walking into Chain reation on a sold out show on any summer night. gross.

So I have two things to try to plug.
Some of you know and are coming, for that I love you, we are playing at the Key Club tomorrow night. They have their free tuesday nights (or rudy tuesdays, as they like to call em') and we were invited to play.. we are very excited since it's with some of our favorite bands. Good Ol' Dylan Hay Chapman made this flyer, so i'm posting it as a reminder, if you can come, then come!

I have gotten a job! YAY!!!! bum no more.. I am now doing hair at the J. Street Salon in Pasadena.. WOOHOO. it's a really cute salon, it just opened a few months ago.. I'm passing out flyers for myself everywhere to try to build up a clientele and fast! so if anyone is in that area and wants me to do their hair.. or even if you know someone just pass the info along. thanks.

I've been having some crazy dreams lately. what else is new?

should be lots of fun I hear these loft parties are awesome cause they run until 4 am and will serve you up until 4 am.. good to know.
I guess we play around 10 ish.

The next week, we're playing tuesday tunes in riverside with my favorites Ruet Tape. then Wednesday night at the Gig with Rock paper Scissors and another favorite of mine Service group  (I'm sad that the bentleys couldn't do it)

yeah so i've been burning the candle at both ends and haven't even had time to re-touch my hair. what a shame.

I've been so busy lately I haven't had the time to pick up my knitting needles and make something pretty.
Of course, that was until tonight where I actually made a "knit date" with my frined Jennifer (she taught me how) so she could bring me up to speed with some advanced knitter skills. Now i'm pumped to go buy some yarn.. How lame huh?

Strangely enough my two  current obsessions are going hand and hand. 
Since I love to KNit and watch the DYI network (as well as HGTV) I fell in love with "the Knitty Gritty" and their host Vickie Howell. She's adorable and actually looks a tad bit like Mrs. Kay Hanley and we all know my feelings on her. So I was so excited to see she made a cameo on my other favorite show right now (if you know me at all this is a given) Lisa Loebs "#1 Single". She Knitted and swapped advice with Lisa. Oh how badly I'd love to be part of that circle of friends.


Ah they are so cute.

Lots of other things are going on in my life right now, but even though I haven't written here in a while , I'd rather just talk about knitting.

Note* dose anyone else watch the Lisa Loeb show? Her sister Debbie is a singer and you can hear her on myspace. I just notcied it this morning. I thought it was weird that in the first episodes they would credit her "Debbie sister" now it says "Debbie sister/singer". Hmm I'd hate to say it, but it appears as if someones riding on some really cute Hello Kitty coattails.

Jack Black married the thrid Haden sister, that's exciting news.

It's st. Patricks day., I guess that could be exciting as well, but not really.

if you're not busy or up to no good come down and see the bands, lookat/buy some art and  then thank Alaska for setting this whole thing up. It really has been fucking awesome so far. Everyone is so supportive and so talented, it makes me happy that I could be a part of something I really think is amazing.   I know you guys all dread "Riverside" and won't even make the drive but honestly, I doubt you'd regret it. 

Plus you can grab a copy of the new Digress which features yours truly.  Some really bad pictures and a stupid interview but it's fun for you to laugh at my expense. Also I think that they might be filming some live footage of us for the Digress DVD which should come out (Dave hopes) by December.  Maybe by the Digress benefit show which will be December 3rd also at back to the grind in the newly remodeled basement. Fun Fun Fun stuff.

Besides, what else can you do for free on a sunday?
